Great Park Pursuit Participation Rules (Legal)
Participation in The Great Park Pursuit is open to everyone.
The Great Park Pursuit is not a contest of skill or a sweepstakes, but rather a free program to familiarize participants with Nebraska’s park and recreational opportunities. As such, participants may be require to walk or explore in order to location the program posts in order to receive credit for their visit. Some parks may require a valid Nebraska State Park Entry permit, or other small entrance fee, otherwise there is no cost to participate.
To participate, individuals must register as part of a team. Teams may consist of 1-10 individual members, of any age.
Individual participants may only be a member of only one team. There can only be one team per household.
Each team must designate a Team Captain who is at least 18 years of age, and will be the contact and spokesperson for the team.
Team must register either online or through the mobile app in order to participate. To request a hardcopy registration form via email, please send a request to info@negpp.org.
Team contact information will be used to provide information about the Great Park Pursuit, park-related information and sponsor messages and images uploaded via the app will only be used for submission towards establishing qualification for rewards in The Great Park Pursuit.
Although registration may open earlier, teams will only receive credit for visits that happen on or after the May 1, 2022 start date.
All entries must be completed and/or postmarked or done by October 31, 2022 and received no later than October 31, 2022.
Paper entry forms for visits must be original, and be done by members of the team listed on the form. Photocopies of these completed forms will not be accepted.
Prizes won in this program may not be returned to the providing retailer or organization for cash or credit.
Larger prizes will be required to be picked up from the providing retailer at a location to be determined during the October prize-pick-up period.
Prize drawing for listed prizes will happen in November, 2022 with an announcement to follow.
Prizes will be drawn at random from a group of all eligible teams. Winners will be notified by email, telephone or mail.
Any program that receives federal funding from the National Park Service, or the United States Fish and Wildlife Service prohibits unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, marital status, national origin, disability or political affiliation.
