Mobile App Instructions
*If using the Mobile App again for another season and you do not see the new season information, you may have to re-install the app on your device. Your information will be stored with your profile so, as long as you have submitted your impressions, you won’t lose any of your progress.
Step 3: Sign in using your account name and password.
Step 4: To begin capturing impressions, tap the “Parks” button at the bottom.
Step 5: Choose a park you want to visit and click the park icon to the left or the camera on the right.
Step 6: The Park Page includes all the information that you will need to find and capture your impression. Once you have found the post, tap “Capture Impression” to launch your device’s Camera App.
Step 7: The Impression Page will be blank until you have captured the post with your camera. Tap “Capture Impression” and then center the post in the frame. *Prize eligibility is based on the content and quality of your image so be sure that the silver/metal post icon is visible in the frame and is not blurry or too dark. You can take multiple pictures until you get it just right, so be sure you are happy with your image before moving to the next step.
Step 8: Tap the “Submit” button once you are satisfied with your image. If you do not have a network connection, you will be able to submit the picture and your device will automatically submit the impression the next time you open the app with a network connection available.
Step 9: When you return to the Parks page you will notice that the camera icon has changed to indicate that you have a pending impression. Once the impression is approved by NEGPP staff, the camera will disappear and the icon to the right will turn Gold to indicate approval.
Step 10: You’ve captured your first impression, on to the next and enjoy your adventure!
